Dr. Ellen Koo is a highly accomplished dentist with an impressive educational background. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Prior to that, she studied at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with Honours.
Dr. Koo has further expanded her expertise by obtaining an IV Sedation Certificate from the University of Alberta Faculty of Dentistry and an Implant Certificate from Apsun Dental Implant Research & Education Center. Additionally, she holds Invisalign Clear Essential I and II Certificates.
Since 2014, Dr. Koo has been serving as the Principal Dentist at Austin Dental Group, after practicing as a General Dentist in British Columbia since 2008. Fluent in both English and Korean, she is able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Koo has interests in classical music, musicals, and fine arts. She is also an avid swimmer, having competed in the sport and earned a Lifeguard Certificate. Other hobbies include pilates, golf and paddle boards, showcasing her well-rounded nature and passion for various activities.
Dr. Lin focuses on building good relationships with her patients and boosting their confidence through a smile.
Dr. Lavinia C. Lin, joined our dynamic team in 2017. She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2011.
After graduation, she pursued her practice in Denver, USA until 2014. She moved to Vancouver in 2015 and has been serving the community ever since.
Dr. Lin provides an array of dental care and is committed to providing patient-centric treatment. She focuses on building good relationships with her patients and boosting their confidence through a smile.
She is a firm believer in continuing education. She continues to expand her knowledge and familiarize herself with advances in the field of dentistry through study clubs, workshops and conferences.
Dr. Lin is a member of British Columbia Dental Association and American Dental Association.
Besides dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and traveling in her leisure time.

Our dental team is happy to provide you with a full range of dental care options including preventative care (such as scaling, root planning, polishing, and fluoride), restorative and cosmetic dentistry (such as filling, root canal therapy, crown & bridge, extraction, CT scanning, implant, Invisalign, in-office whitening, and botox) to keep your smile beautiful. We also provide sedation options such as intravenous (IV) sedation, nitrous oxide (N2O) sedation, and oral sedation.
Insurance & Billing
Ready for a better, faster, dental insurance experience? We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan, and we direct bill for all insurance plans.
